Gascoigne, or ‘Gazza’ as he’s affectionately known, revealed to talkSPORT earlier this week that he would sport the famous Spurs kit once more. The 51-year-old, who is also viewed as one of England’s best players of all time, has often been in the headlines for the wrong reasons. But there was only support for Gascoigne as he entered the field of play, coming on for Rafael van der Vaart in the 53rd minute.Below you can see the spine-tingling moment when Gascoigne came on and the fantastic reception he received. It wasn’t a fairytale victory for Gascoigne and co. however, as a late goal from Houssine Kharja secured a 5-4 win for Inter. However, it was a wonderful spectacle which saw the likes of Jurgen Klinsmann, Robbie Keane, David Ginola, Dimitar Berbatov and of course Gascoigne grace the pitch which will produce many memorable matches for Spurs teams in the future.
