Hoddle continues to recover from a heart attack suffered in October

Hoddle, the Tottenham legend, collapsed at the BT Sport studios on October 27 after suffering a cardiac arrest, and later underwent successful surgery before returning home to recover.“That just wasn’t good for my recovery! But a great performance well done boys, deserved to win,” Hoddle wrote on social media platform Twitter.

The message was the first time he has posted on social media since his collapse.Spurs were helped through to the knockout stages by PSV Eindhoven, who belied their status as the group’s last place team to secure a 1-1 draw away at Inter Milan.2
