Daniel James will reportedly earn 16 times more at Manchester United than his current Swansea salary.United have agreed a deal with the Championship club worth around 18million.1

He will officially join United when the international transfer window opens next week, having undergone a medical with the Red Devils on Thursday.The 21-year-old is set for a huge boost in his salary with the Mail reporting that he will get up to 67,000 a week, including bonuses, up from his 4,000 wage at Swansea.

James, who has won two caps for Wales, left their international base near Chester on Thursday to undergo his medical at Uniteds Carrington training ground.He is expected to feature in the Dragons Euro 2020 qualifiers against Croatia, on Saturday, and Hungary next Tuesday. He becomes Uniteds first signing of the summer transfer window, and also the first signing made byOle Gunnar Solskjaersince his appointment as the clubs manager on a permanent basis last December.A host of Premier League clubs had been linked with James, who wasclose to joining Leeds in January before the move collapsed at the 11th hour.
